Osaka - Utsubo Park

Utsubo Park was a short 10 minute walk from our hotel and the first day we walked through on our way downtown, we noticed that there were many, many rose bushes that had huge buds but had not yet bloomed.  I told Cassio, let's wait until the very last day, the morning before we leave Osaka and go and see if the roses have bloomed.  We got up early, packed our bags, left them in the room and set out for the park...  I was NOT disappointed.  Such a lovely park with hundreds upon hundreds of varieties of fragrant roses!!! While Cassio took all these beautiful photos, I was bent over inhaling the scent of each different rose.  It was delicious!!!

I did an experiment and curled my hair for fun.  Cassio called me "Goldilocks" all day!

On our way to Kyoto.  In the first of 3 stations with many ramps, walkways and stairs.  Remember, ALWAYS travel light ;)
