Krakow - Poland


The morning we had set aside to visit Krakow's downtown area, Viddy woke up with a migraine, so I went on my own.
The city is wonderful, even though it still carries a lot of wounds from the war.  There are many poorly maintained buildings but, on the other hand, several are being renovated.

They have a very modern transit system in the city, but fortunately still keep some of the old trams that run on a grassy track.



The inner city, instead of having a proper park in the middle, has this lovely boulevard that surrounds it almost completely.



The Cloth Hall houses one of the fanciest souvenir markets I have ever seen anywhere.
